Success Case Study – Cosmo Plaza
The Challenge: A developer had completed a three-storey
commercial shopping centre in Richmond, the fastest-growing suburb in
lower Mainland of BC and the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. The pre-sales
and leasing of the entire shopping centre were slow. The developer was
unable to sell or lease any part of the second floor space which consisted
of a 22 unit-food court. What was wrong? A solution to sell out or lease
out the remaining units was needed – and quickly.
The Solution: Edward Wong & Associates
recommended that the food court be removed and the entire second floor
be changed back to office and retail use. A distinctively unique marketing
campaign targeted to business operators and investors was launched. The
result? Within one year the balance of Cosmo Plaza was sold and leased.
